Online judgment subscription services
The Law Library provides online access to the following databases:
- Family Court of Western Australia Decisions 2007-
- District Court of Western Australia civil decisions 1996-
- District Court of Western Australia criminal decisions 2007-

PLEAS
The Legal Practice Board has developed the Practitioners’ Legal Electronic Access Service (PLEAS) which is available by subscription to practitioners
PLEAS provides access to the following:
- Judgments of the Supreme Court of Western Australia 1991-
- Judgments of the District Court of Western Australia 1996-
- Judgments of the Childrens Court of Western Australia 1999-
- Practice Directions of the Supreme Court of Western Australia 1991-
- Practice Directions of the Family Court of Western Australia 2001-
- Personal Injuries Summaries of the District Court of Western Australia 1997-
- Mining Wardens Decisions 1999-
- Criminal Injuries Compensation Judgments 2004-
- State Administrative Tribunal Decisions
- Sentencing Decisions of the Supreme Court of Western Australia
- Pre 1991 Database of Supreme Court of WA Decisions
Access to the PLEAS database requires Lotus Notes software.

Catchwords alerting service
The Supreme Court Law Library offers a weekly subscription email service to practitioners and law firms. The service provides copies of the head notes and catchwords for all unreported judgments from the Supreme Court and the District Court.
Annual Subscriptions based on the financial year are:
- Supreme Court Judgments $350 (+GST)
- District Court Judgments $200 (+GST)

Document delivery
Requests for documents and research assistance should be submitted by means of fax or email to the Reference desk at info@scwalawlibrary.com.au

The Law Library strives to supply the documents requested within the shortest possible time.
Training
The Law Library offers a free legal research training service for members of the legal profession. As well as giving individual training in the use of library resources, the library offers an annual program of free sessions which entitles participants to 1 CPD point per session.
